Meet my latest model, Bubba Race, recently retired Cobb County Police Department K9 Officer. Bubba, who is a Belgian Malinois, specialized in tracking people and finding bombs. Bubba is the daddy of our beautiful girl Hera.
Frank is a beautiful boxer who was found abandoned after Hurricane Katrina and now is living out his days at Best Friends. When we lost our beloved boxers, our good friend Cheryl sponsored Frank in their memory and I felt compelled to paint him. He looks so fierce and vulnerable all at the same time.
Joe is another Best Friends dog. He just looked like he should be wearing a bow tie...
I painted Samson and Delilah while they were still with us and I couldn't resist giving Delilah a cigar because she truly believed she was the alpha male.
